Scope Civil procedure in Canada is generally governed by rules of court applicable to the jurisdiction in question. Thus, there are rules of court for both provincial and superior courts and for the Federal Court of Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada. Judicial interpretation of rules of court is highly relevant. Included below are also materials on limitation periods.
