Abandoned vehicles - Sale of abandoned vehicles by auction - Title of buyer as against the former owner - The plaintiff bought an abandoned vehicle at an auction sale conducted pursuant to s. 96 of the Motor Vehicle Administration Act - The Alberta Provincial Court held that by virtue of s. 96 the buyer obtained a title that was unaffected by any charges recorded at the Central Registry.
