A Toronto gold exploration firm working in the Hemlo area of northwestern Ontario has signed for a loan and has a milling agreement to process a large bulk sample.

Harte Gold announced July 16 that it has signed a term sheet with Auramet International LLC for a loan of up to US $6 million and has a signed letter of intent with Barrick Gold to process a 70,000 tonne bulk sample from its Sugar Zone property.

The sample will be processed at Barrick's nearby Hemlo mill with the final agreement expected to be signed by the end of August.

The company's Sugar Zone property is located just northeast of White River and is 60 kilometres east of the Hemlo gold camp.

The project is at an advanced stage and contains an indicated resource of 980,000 tonnes of gold, grading 10.13 grams per tonne (g/t) for 319,280 ounces of contained gold, and an inferred resource of 580,000 tonnes, grading 8.36 g/t for 155,960 ounces.
