Hiring has commenced to fill management positions at a proposed sawmill to be located in Bonfield, just east of North Bay.
A website is now accessible for International Wood Industries (IWI), the company behind the sawmill, which is currently pursuing a facility licence and the required permits in order to operate the proposed $145-million mill.
If approved, the facility is expected to require about 90 employees when running at full capacity.
According to the new website, which went live in mid-March, IWI is now hiring for the following positions:
* mill manager;
* construction manager;
* wood fibre procurement manager;
* health, safety and environment manager; and
