Divorce - Corollary relief - Maintenance - Child support guidelines (incl. nondivorce cases) - Mechanism for regular recalculation - The Manitoba Court of Appeal opined that it would be preferable, where applicable, that a provision respecting a recalculation of the Child Support Guidelines Table amount of child support by the Child Support Recalculation Service and a requirement that both parents provide the Support Determination Officer of the Service any financial disclosure, be included in child support orders - That would leave no doubt of the obligation of any payor parent and facilitate ease of adjustment of support annually - Also that would ensure the proper amount of child support was paid for the children on an ongoing and current basis, and for the most part, without the necessity of variation applications - The court also encouraged motions and trial judges to make orders respecting use of the Child Support Recalculation Service for adjustment of special or extraordinary expenses payable in respect of children under the age of majority - See paragraphs 18 to 22.
