Occupiers' liability for dangerous activities - Sports arenas, hockey rink - The plaintiff was a paying spectator at a hockey game and was injured by a hockey stick when he was standing at the side of the ice surface next to the boards - The Saskatchewan Court of Appeal dismissed the plaintiff's action for damages - The Court of Appeal stated that the defendant in the circumstances made reasonable provision for the safety of its patrons.
