Le 23 octobre, pendant la premiere seance de la 59e legislature de l'Assemblee legislative du Nouveau-Brunswick, le depute de Restigouche--Chaleur, Daniel Guitard, a ete elu President. Il presidera le premier gouvernement minoritaire de la province en un siecle.
