Les comités permanents ont repris leurs réunions en personne en septembre 2020 et des réunions virtuelles ont débuté en décembre 2020. Depuis le moment où la province a déclaré l'état d'urgence pour aider à contenir la propagation de la COVID-19, le 22 mars 2020, aucune réunion des comités permanents n'a eu lieu, à l'exception du Comité des ressources humaines qui s'est réuni chaque mois par téléphone comme le prévoit la loi.
