Summary:

Glynes' vehicle and Wickert's vehicle collided. Wickert died. Liability was appor­tioned equally between Glynes and Wickert. Wickert's child, his alleged spouse and his mother sought damages from Glynes for the losses that they suffered as a result of Wick­ert's wrongful death.

The British Columbia Supreme Court determined damages accordingly.
