Drugs - Restricted drugs - Trafficking - What constitutes - The accused was apprehended with a large number of LSD pills - The accused testified that he was going to use most of the pills himself and then pass the rest around at a party he was going to - The accused was charged with possession of a restricted drug for the purpose of trafficking contrary to s. 42(2) of the Food and Drugs Act - The Newfoundland Provincial Court convicted the accused and held the accused had possession for the purpose of trafficking by transporting, delivering and distributing the drug - See paragraphs 20 to 22.
