Seeds - Sell defined - The accused was found guilty of selling seeds that did not conform with prescribed standards contrary to s. 3(1)(a) of the Seeds Act - The accused supplied seeds to farmers who grew the produce and delivered the produce back to the accused - The accused appealed on the ground that it did not sell the seeds to the farmers - The Alberta Court of Queen's Bench allowed the appeal and held that there was no sale as defined by the Seeds Act - See paragraph 7.
