Sentence - Manslaughter - 53 year old woman in failing health - Schizophrenic - No previous record - Careless use of a firearm - The Nova Scotia Provincial Court sentenced the accused to 18 months imprisonment plus 2 years probation - The Provincial Court also held that the accused should be provided with psychiatric assistance while in prison and that she accept further assistance as directed by the probation service.
