Registration open for Sudbury agriculture conference.

Registration is now open for the Northern Ontario Ag Conference taking place Feb. 12-13 in Sudbury.

The second annual event is a joint initiative of the Northern Ontario Farm Innovation Alliance (NOFIA) and the Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association.

It's billed as an opportunity to bring together industry stakeholders to discuss best practices, network and learn.

This year's theme is 'Sharing Knowledge, Growing Together.'

Confirmed speakers for the event include Barry Potter, an agriculture development advisor representing the north region for the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. Potter will speak about 'Tools for Unlocking Northern Ag Development.'
