Municipalities - Powers - To restrict who city does business with - The City of Vancouver passed resolutions declaring that it would do no further business with Shell Canada until its parent corporation completely withdrew and disinvested itself from South Africa - Shell Canada applied to quash the resolutions - The British Columbia Court of Appeal held that the City had power to pass the resolutions.
