Summary: Nortown Plumbing (1998) Ltd. was a contractor for plumbing services for new homes in two residential subdivisions. Yorkwest Plumbing Supply Inc. supplied Nortown with plumbing materials which were used in new homes built in both subdivisions. The contracts between Nortown and the subdivision owners were written. The subcontracts between Nortown and Yorkwest were oral. Under the written contracts, claims for liens under the Construction Lien Act arose and expired on a lot-by-lot basis.
