Maintenance of wives and children - Interim relief - Interim maintenance - After separation, a father paid $450 monthly support for two children, aged five and seven - The mother moved to British Columbia to maintain her employment - She sought increased support because the cost of living was higher than anticipated and she underestimated tax implications - She estimated the monthly cost of providing for the children at $2,193 - The Saskatchewan Court of Queen's Bench increased interim maintenance to $350 per month per child - The court stated that long-term expenses, such as insurance, taxes, anticipated medical costs, vacations, etc., should not be considered in determining interim maintenance.
