Timmins' Feldman Timber switching to BMR Group banner: Addition marks BMR Group's ninth Ontario store.

A family-owned Timmins building supply business will now carry the banner of a Quebec-based company.

Feldman Timber, which has operated in Timmins for close to 110 years, will soon operate under the banner of BMR Group, which owns 300 home renovation centres and hardware stores in Quebec, Ontario, and the Maritime provinces.

The companies announced the change on July 8.

"Our goal is to be the leader in our marketplace. BMR offers the most complete program in order to allow us to grow our business," said Lome Feldman, the fourth-generation owner at Feldman Timber.
