Hampton Inn now open in Timmins.

Timmins has added a Hampton Inn to its assortment of new hotels.

Hampton Inn by Hilton Hotel opened in April on Timmins' main thoroughfare, Riverside Drive, providing guests with easy access to anywhere in the city and panoramic views of the Mattagami River.

The hotel is owned by Riverside Hotel Timmins LP and operated by Vrancor Hospitality Corporation.

"With a solid, industrial foundation, the City of Timmins continues to expand its offerings of natural, cultural and recreational diversions for both residents and visitors," said Steve Pocmic, president of Pocrnic Realty Advisors Inc. and co-owner of Hampton Inn by Hilton Timmins, in a news release.

The six-storey hotel has 115 rooms, and includes free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour business centre with computers and complimentary printing, an indoor swimming pool, and a fitness centre. A free, hot breakfast is included in the price of rental.
