Thunder Bay's Lakehead University was declared Ontario's number one university in the undergraduate research category of this year's annual ranking of Canada's Top 50 Research Universities, as reported by Re$earch Infosource.

"This result confirms what we already know at Lakehead University--that research and innovation can be a thriving and growing part of universities our size," said provost and vice-president-academic Dr. Rod Hanley in an Oct. 18 release. "We have exceptional faculty, students and community partners who are passionate and driven about changing the world."
