Northern ag forum slated for October.

Northern Ontario farmers are being invited to participate in a two-day forum to discuss the future of agriculture in the North.

The Northern Ontario Agriculture Roundtable is scheduled to take place Oct. 28-29 at the Holiday Inn in Sudbury. The goal is to set a collaborative framework for agricultural research in Northern Ontario.

Participants will include the agricultural research stations in Thunder Bay, New Liskeard and Emo; the province's agriculture and northern development ministries; and various Northern Ontario commodity groups, funding agencies and agricultural research organizations.
