Roman Kaziuk has 69 fraud convictions and has victimized and bankrupted his own 88-year-old mother. He defrauded her out of her million dollar nest egg and she now lives in a Salvation Army shelter. In the shelter, her clothes are frequently stolen, she cannot get appropriate meals for her diabetes, and a police officer personally bought her replacement batteries for her hearing aid so she could hear them. Mr. Kaziuk even defrauded one of his own lawyers, who lent him $20,000 when he was convinced that Mr. Kaziuk's mother had died suddenly and he needed the money to bury her.
