About the Author
Robert H Tanha holds a BA (Hons) in law and society and political science
om York University and earned an LLB om the University of Ottawa.
He holds a bachelor degree in education and a graduate degree (MA) in
Canadian politics, both om the University of Windsor. He is a barrister
and solicitor in Ontario. He is currently a law instructor at Centennial
College (The Business School—Progress Campus), and he also teaches
law classes to students in the School of Continuing Education at George
Brown College (St James Campus) both in Toronto, Ontario. In the past,
he has taught law courses for Durham College, Seneca College, Sheridan
College, and Algonquin College. He has acted as a university sessional lec-
turer as well, having taught law and law-related courses for the Faculty of
Social Science and Humanities at Ontario Tech University (Oshawa) and
for the Department of Sociology at the University of Toronto (Missis-
sauga). He has other legal publications on the law of evidence and the law
of personal property, appearing in the Manitoba Law Journal and College
Quarterly, respectively.
