Hornepayne, Manitouwadge, Wawa and Chapleau may have regular passenger air service by July if a tentative deal with a Thunder Bay carrier goes through.

Niigaani Air has plans to fly out of Thunder Bay on weekday mornings and arrive in Sudbury with stops in these communities. An eight-seat Navajo Chieftain aircraft has been restored for the service. No schedules or fares have been announced.
