October marked the fifth consecutive month of decreased traffic across the International Bridge in Sault Ste. Mane. Compared to October 1999, numbers for the month were down 9.5 per cent.

Larry Walls, the administrative manager with the International Bridge Administration, says the drop in traffic is beginning to take its toll financially.
