Le présent compte rendu porte sur la suite de la première session de la 42e législation, soit de juillet à septembre 2019.
La Chambre a fait relâche pour l'été à compter du jeudi 20 juin après avoir convenu que l'ajournement prendrait fin le lundi 16 septembre. Le mercredi 11 septembre, le Conseil privé a recommandé à la gouverneure générale de dissoudre le Parlement afin de tenir la 43e élection générale le lundi 21 octobre et de convoquer la Chambre des communes le lundi 18 novembre après le retour des brefs.
