Champion Bear announces preliminary assay results for Sudbury-area drilling.

The recent completion of three drill holes for a total depth of 816 metres at Champion Bear Resources Ltd.'s Sudbury-area Iron Mask property have returned preliminary assay results.

One hole averaged 0.14 per cent copper over a core length of 14.6 metres from 105 to 119.6 metres, indicating that the drill program has begun to define the most prospective target area.

This intersection is 30 metres down-dip from a previous hole drilled in August 2005, which intersected 7.2 metres averaging 0.13 per cent copper.
