College Boreal's Mining & Civil engineering technician and technology programs provide students with a wide range of career opportunities. Graduates of the two year technician diploma or three year technologist diploma will have acquired skills and knowledge relating to the exploitation and extraction of minerals as well as the design and construction of public works such as buildings and road systems.

Thanks to innovative partnerships, College Boreal also provides its students with invaluable hands-on experience. Using Mining Technologies International Inc. facilities, students have access, in Sudbury, to a unique research and demonstration site in North America, an actual underground worksite to practice their engineering skills.
