Through first-rate education, training, technology transfer and cutting-edge applied research, the Confederation College Forestry Centre will meet the needs of our forestry industries and help to build economic sustainability for Northern Ontario.

Our students are gaining skills in demand by employers through programs such as Forestry Worker/Operator, Forestry Technician and Mechanical Engineering Technician (co-op). Our new Forest Products Manufacturing Technician program, which will be commencing September 2004, is a two-year program which will train people to work in mills producing lumber, plywood, wood products and pulp and paper.
