A story in the October 2011 issue of Northern Ontario Business, entitled 'Video initiative emphasizes safety,' contained some inaccuracies.

The story said the son of Tami Hel-geson was killed in a mining accident. According to a Goldcorp spokesperson, the victim was killed in a construction accident and was not an employee of Goldcorp at the time of his death.

The story said employee reaction from a screening of a safety video, prompted the production of three more videos. Goldcorp states those videos were already in production as part of a series.

The story said Goldcorp's "Safe Enough for Our Families" is an overview of the company's objective of one year with no lost-time injuries. Goldcorp said...
