Treasury Metals continues to turn up positive results from its' Goliath Gold Project near Dryden.

In a June 7 release, the Toronto-based junior miner said the results of a metallurgical testwork program demonstrated "exceptional" gold recoveries of between 96 and 97 per cent

Treasury Metals CEO Martin Walter called the results "very encouraging" as the company plans to expand the metallurgical program by drilling on a new high grade zone and possibly opening up a 275-metre decline originally built by Teck-Corona in the late 1990s in order to take bulk samples.

The Goliath Gold Project is located 20 kilometres east of Dryden and two kilometres north of the Trans-Canada Highway. '

Consultant John Wells, who oversaw the test work, said the Goliath gold samples gave "excellent" recovery which is "indicative of free milling, clean, non-refractory ore." He said the results can support the development of a concentrator design, capital and operating costs at a scoping or pre-feasibility study stage.

The company has three drills turning on the project and continues to post high grade intersections from its 30,000-metre program. Exploration on the project's eastern gold zone recently yielded a drill result of 17.72 metres at 3.49 grams per tonne.

Gold continues to drive exploration activity in the Kenora district with more than 60 active precious and base metals...
