Falconbridge shifts focus.

Falconbridge Ltd.'s mining operations are shifting to focus on developing ore bodies elsewhere in the world because ore reserves are shrinking in the Sudbury basin.

The company has been exploring for major contact ore bodies - reserves containing 15 to 20 million tonnes of nickel, copper and cobalt in the Sudbury structure, but have not found bodies at depths that are easy to mine.
