A planning committee brought about by the Women's Business Network is looking for business ideas to help improve the tourism industry in Kenora.

While a lot of people come through the area, the city is not really viewed as a destination, a committee member says. For starters, they want to change the complexion of the tourist industry by establishing a long pier/wharf.
