Green building conference to come alive at Cambrian College.

Both the history and the future of energy-efficient building design and construction will be examined at the one-day Living Building Conference and Trade Show held Sep. 27 at Sudbury's Cambrian College.

To be located in the college's eDome, the conference will focus on how to build homes, and some of the prevailing trends in a climate change era.

The event will feature various speakers, including Jason F. McLennan, CEO of the Cascadia Green Building Council, and Peter Love, Ontario's Chief Energy Conservation Officer.

An accompanying trade show will feature displays from green builders, alternative energy businesses as well as manufacturers.
