The conference, organized by InterAmicus and the Faculty of Law, McGill University, brought together a distinguished international group of lawyers, law professors, students, judges, parliamentarians, journalists, and diplomats for discussions of key issues at a symbolic and significant time, for the conference commemorated the fiftieth anniversaries of both the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Convention for the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, the sesquicentennial of the Faculty of Law, and the tenth anniversary of InterAmicus.
