Interpretation

1 Expressions used in this Act have the same meaning as in the Financial Administration Act unless the context requires otherwise.

Expenses of the public service

2 Pending the voting of supply for the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2018, amounts not exceeding a total of $129,260,108,400 may be paid out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund or recognized as non-cash expenses to be applied to the expenses of the public service that are not otherwise provided for.

Investments of the public service

3 Pending the voting of supply for the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2018, amounts not exceeding a total of $4,643,532,300 may be paid out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund or recognized as non-cash investments to be applied to the investments of the public service in capital assets, loans and other investments that are not otherwise provided for.

Expenses of the Legislative Offices

4 Pending the voting of supply for the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2018, amounts not exceeding a total of $219,450,300 may be paid out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund to be applied to the expenses of the Legislative Offices that are not otherwise provided for.

Charge to proper appropriation

5 All expenditures made or recognized under this Act must be charged to the proper appropriation following the voting of supply for the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2018.
