A 38-year-old Edmonton man has pled guilty to charges of sexual interference and Internet luring. The case involved a 13-year-old girl who suffers from a form of autism, which impairs her judgment and social skills. The girl's mother had been monitoring her computer use and had intercepted messages in an MSN chat room between her daughter and the accused. She warned him that her daughter was only 13 and autistic. The man apologized and signed off but later arranged to meet the girl and had sex with her.
