Where do you go to decompress?

I like to head out to Sudbury Downs and spend time with the horses. It's a real change from the hectic pace at city hall. The horse is a magnificent animal: spirited and speedy.

What are some of your hobbies?

I like to garden at home, I love to read and I enjoy my horse.

What book would you say is worth reading twice?

Jonathan Livingston Seagull, by Richard Bach. It is a simple book but it tells a great and universal tale.

What food do you consider to be a guilty pleasure?

Pasta. I could eat it everyday but I probably shouldn't.

What was the greatest trip you've ever taken?

A trip I took to Madrid...
