Dominic Giroux, president of Laurentian University, has been honored as Personality of the Year in education by Le Droit / Radio-Canada on Tuesday, Feb. 16.
Held at the Maisondu Citoyen in Gatineau, Quebec, the event highlighted individuals who set themselves apart through their commitment to their community.
The winner of the award in each category is selected from among those named as Personality of the Week throughout the year, an honour Giroux received in June.
