Money for North Bay immigration website.

The City of North Bay is receiving $16,500 from the province to update its successful web immigration portal.

The money is coming through the Municipal Immigration Information Online Program (MHO) and will be used to improve the website's content. The portal was started five years ago and was created to provide access to local information for prospective newcomers.

The money will be used to feature five video profiles highlighting real stories about individuals and families who have made North Bay their home.

The city has worked closely with the North Bay and District Multicultural Centre with support from the North Bay Newcomer Network and local volunteers.
