Illustrious illustrator moves to new landscape.

Eleven years ago in 1992, Ron Wigglesworth made his debut as our artist/illustrator. In those days, LawNow was a 24 page, all black and white magazine, and Ron provided a variety of illustrations, some sketches, some amazing prints--one of my favourites being the print of the constitutional tree growing out of our Canadian maple leaf flag.

With the August/September 1994 issue, Volume 19, we made a major change in our format, doubling the number of pages to 48. And Ron began supplying his trademark colour pastel covers. At the LawNow offices, I think each of us has our favourite cover. Associate Editor Teresa Mitchell still loves the lush and angel-filled graveyard cover for our 1996 Wills and Estates issue. Among my favourites is the legally bewigged snowman on our Law in a Cold Climate issue. Several of Ron's covers have been purchased and adorn law offices across the country.

It wasn't easy coming up with nine or ten inside illustrations plus a cover for years. But Ron's sense of humour--though sometimes...
