Historically, the federal government and British Columbia have been seen as trail blazers on the Internet with regard to to making the judgments of major courts available for free on the Internet. On May 6, 1999, Alberta became the latest province to allow the public to access decisions. To see what other decisions from tribunals and commissions are available, search the Access to Justice Network (www.acjnet.org) by Browsing by Subject and choosing Judicial Decisions.
