Provincial paper procurement policy sparks reprisal from Timmins chamber.

The Timmins Chamber of Commerce has officially come out against a provincial policy restricting a portion of the government's paper purchases to a specific certification standard.

On Sep. 5, Minister of Government Services Gerry Phillips announced the government would buy 30 per cent of its paper from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified forests.
