La 49e Conférence régionale canadienne a eu lieu à Charlottetown, à l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard, du 13 au 19 juillet 2011. Plus de 80 délégués fédéraux, provinciaux, territoriaux et étrangers ont participé à cette conférence, dont l'hôte était la présidente de l'Assemblée législative de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard, Kathleen Casey. D'autres présidents d'assemblées législatives y étaient présents, notamment George Hickes (Manitoba), Roger Fitzgerald (Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador), Bill Barisoff (Colombie-Britannique), Dale Graham (Nouveau-Brunswick), Ken Kowalski (Alberta), Don Toth (Saskatchewan), Steve Peters (Ontario), Gordie Gosse (Nouvelle-Écosse), Paul Delorey (Territoires du Nord-Ouest) et Hunter Tootoo (Nunavut).

La troisième séance portait principalement sur l'Association parlementaire du Commonwealth et comprenait des exposés présentés par Blair Armitage...
