Queenston reports drilling programs on five properties

Queenston Mining Inc. of Toronto announced that it would commence diamond drilling programs on five properties by the end of this last month.

The five properties include the Upper Beaver and Visgrass properties near Kirkland Lake, the Baden and Flavelle properties in the Matatchewan area and the Upper Denison property in the Mishibishu Lake area.

Pamorex Minerals Inc. began an initial five-hole, third-phase drill program on Queenston's Upper Beaver property on May 30.

The program is a follow-up to the reported gold intersections of .25 ounces per ton across 38 feet and 1.43 ounces per ton across 21.2 feet which lie in the vicinity of the Upper Beaver mine workings.

In addition, the company plans testing of two base metal targets, one below the old workings and a second on recently optioned adjacent claims.

Battle Mountain Canada Inc. is planning an initial two-hole drill program on the Visgrass property.
