Small-and medium-sized businesses in northeastern Ontario are being provided with an opportunity to integrate technology into their operations.

NEOnet, northeastern Ontario's non-profit telecommunications development organization, announced a contribution of $80,000 from the National Research Council's Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) to launch a one-year pilot project for small-and medium-sized businesses. The purpose is to integrate relevant software and technology into the business thereby allowing them to compete more effectively and internationally.
