Marie native, is one of three co-founders of an Ottawa-based software company that was recently acquired for US $10.5 million in cash and stock by Nuance Communications of Menlo Park, Ca. Gallagher, Bill Love and Andrew Cheyen will benefit the most financially from the transaction. Their company, SpeechFront Inc., employed 10 workers.
