Sage Executive Suites are filling a niche market in Sudbury for upscale accommodations.

Noella Cliche, owner and 30-year resident of Sudbury, opened the newly renovated luxury suites in March 2008. An 85-per-cent occupancy rate since it opened is proof the demand is there.

Geared for short and long-term stays, Cliche is focusing on professionals and executives who view the suites as their home away from home and prefer an alternative to hotel accommodations.

The complex is centrally located at 11 Elgin St. in Sudbury's downtown core, close to shopping, banking, gym facilities, grocery stores and restaurants. Its website provides interior pictures and a floor plan of each suite, complete with room dimensions, so the prospective tenant is well informed.

Passing by its sage-green facade garners a second look. The two-storey, 5,000-square-foot building has been completely renovated to reflect the classic style often seen in a 100-year-old building.

Inside is a professional office, two one-bedroom suites and two two-bedroom suites. Professionally designed interiors boast quality-engineered wooden floors with accent flooring and five-and-a-half-inch baseboards and casing. Tastefully decorated, the suites are completely furnished with separate living rooms and bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens and baths. Window treatment throughout shows attention to detail, enhancing its elegant atmosphere.
