Jason Ferrigan, the director of planning with the City of Greater Sudbury, has been named the new president of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI).

Ferrigan previously served on the OPPI council, as president-elect and as a director, and has been an active volunteer with the organization.

As president, he will work with council, professional planners and key stakeholders to advance INSPIRE OPPI, the institute's strategic plan.
