Sudbury road builder lands Cochrane contract.

Teranorth Construction & Engineering of Sudbury landed a $3.5 million road construction near Cochrane.

Work is underway on Highway 652, just east of the town and is scheduled for completion in September, 2012.

The road will provide better driving conditions and will help support the Detour Lake gold mine.

The contractor will replace the existing concrete and timber Brule Creek Bridge with a new single span bridge with a concrete deck on steel girders.
