Timmins hotels see provincial dollars.

The province is shelling out funding to a trio of Timmins-area hotels to help increase accommodation space in northeastern Ontario.

Senator Hotels Limited received $71,921 to add seven high-end suites and reconfigure the fitness centre at its Days Inn Hotel in the City of Timmins.

This hotel has operated at its current location for more than 50 years.
